What type of information do we ask for?

 

We will only ask for information that is required to conduct our business. Types of information we collect are:

  • Your name and the names of the people attending our services with you (your partner or baby)

  • Contact details including your address, email, and phone numbers

  • You child's first name and date of birth or due date

  • Details of your birthing experience and other details related to this

  • Any medical conditions you may have

  • Any feedback you may give on classes attended

 

How we get the information and why we do we have it?

 

Information is collected from you when you book on one of our classes or workshops, use the 'contact us' facility on our website or email directly. We may use your information for the following reasons:

 

  • Tailor the services to meet your requirements (in particular for 1-1 classes)

  • Occasionally send you information on new services, information concerning our business and/or promotional offers

  • Use the information you provide to improve our services

 

If you do not wish to receive information, via email or otherwise, about new services, information concerning our business and/or promotional offers please indicate this, by emailing and we will remove you from our mailing list. 

Processing your Personal Data

 

Under the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) we control and/or process any personal information about you and in order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. Our lawful basis for using your data is through consent. We will keep your information on record for six months after final contact.

 

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure

If, as determined by Exhale Birthing and Beyond, the lawful basis upon which we process your personal information changes, we will notify you about the change and any new lawful basis to be used if required. We shall stop processing your personal information if the lawful basis used is no longer relevant.

 

We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so. We may use your personal information to send you promotional information about third parties which we think you may find interesting, please do let us know if you would like to proceed.
