Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions apply between you, the User of this website and attendee of any class, and Samantha Cox, the owner of Exhale Birthing and Beyond.
Please read these terms and conditions carefully as they may affect your legal rights
By booking a place with Exhale Birthing and Beyond you agree to inform the instructor of all relevant medical conditions and indemnify Exhale Birthing and Beyond for any issues arising from your failure to provide this information
By booking any online or in-person course from Exhale Birthing and Beyond you are agreeing to the following;
In-person and Online Cancellations
Bookings will be confirmed on receipt of full payment
In the event that your baby arrives early, and your course was due to start before week 37 of pregnancy (full term), a full refund will be offered on receipt of a copy of your baby’s birth certificate. This is the only instance where a refund can be offered for in-person classes or online classes.
In the unfortunate event you experience miscarriage or infant loss then a full refund will be issued immediately.
In the event that an in-person or online term (in its entirety or part of) is no longer able to take place, a refund for any missed sessions or credit at the same value of any missed sessions for other available classes will be offered.
Exhale Birthing and Beyond reserves the right to cancel, change or alter dates and venues of any course at any time. If the course changes from the advertised description and you are no longer able to attend, you will be offered a full refund or alternative time or class to suit you at no extra cost.
In the instance you have booked classes that you are then advised by your pregnancy health care provider not to attend on medical grounds you will have the options of crediting the classes to future postnatal classes or offered a refund upon receipt of a doctors or midwife note.
Medical Concerns
Where you are attending an in-person class it is vital that you inform Exhale Birthing and Beyond of any medical conditions that you or your baby may have which may affect your time in classes.
All information is treated sensitively and in confidence. These conditions in the mother include but are not limited to; high blood pressure, low blood pressure, bleeding, spotting, history of miscarriage, placenta previa, back or hip issues.
It is solely your responsibility to keep Exhale Birthing and Beyond updated with any conditions you may have and advise them of any new conditions or complications.
Sadly, we are unable to offer refunds for any classes missed due to illness. We ask that you do not attend class for 48 hours should you or your baby experience any of the following; fever, diarrhoea or vomiting or have symptoms of any other contagious conditions such as chickenpox, measles or norovirus. A credit for future classes may be offered in the instance of being asked to self-isolate due to testing positive for COVID-19 for the sessions missed during the isolation period.
You accept that Exhale Birthing and Beyond does not provide classes taught by a medical professional, nor is any advice deemed to be medical advice and if you have any medical concerns you should seek medical advice from your medical care provider.
COVID-19

Please note that if you choose to attend an in-person class with Exhale Birthing and Beyond, you do so at your own risk.

Classes will follow strict Covid-19 safe guidance which will also align with the guidance provided by each venue. A strict two metre social distancing rule will apply in all class settings

Full details of measures that will take place before, during and after the classes will be sent out in detail via email prior to you attending your class. You will be required to confirm you have read and understood what is expected of you.

Should any of the Government or local authority guidelines change and a class is subsequently unable to continue in-person, Exhale Birthing and Beyond will endeavour to offer an online alternative and no refunds will be given.

You will be asked to self-isolate should you test positive or experience any Covid-19 symptoms and will unable to attend classes for a period of 14 days.

If your teacher is required to self-isolate but is still well enough to teach classes, they will be replaced by an online class where possible (via Zoom) and will return to in-person classes once the isolation period is over.

If you or your child develop symptoms within 48 hours of attending a class or you test positive for Covid-19, you are required to notify us immediately. Subsequently if another class member notifies Exhale Birthing and Beyond of a positive test result or symptoms, you will be notified as soon as practically possible.

Exhale Birthing and Beyond cannot accept responsibility or liability for any illness arising out of or resulting from attendance of our classes and it is your responsibility to adhere to the hygiene rules set out in the class guidelines.
Valuables
All property taken into Exhale Birthing and Beyond class venues is left at your own risk. Neither Exhale Birthing and Beyond nor the venue will accept responsibility for the loss or damage of any personal possessions before, during or after sessions.
Video and Photography
You are permitted to take photographs during baby classes, but we ask that you do not share these photos on any social media platforms such Instagram, Facebook or other internet sites without prior consent from the other class participants first.
Exhale Birthing and Beyond may on occasions take photographs during classes for social media or website purposes but will request permission/consent from class participants prior to publishing for marketing purposes.

Intellectual Property
Any recording or written material included as part of this course and all rights worldwide (including Intellectual Property Rights) relating thereto respectively are the sole property of Exhale Birthing and Beyond and Katherine Graves KGHypnobirthing Ltd or others from whom such rights may be derived (whether or not protected by trademark and copyright laws) and may not be used other than for the personal use of the participant without obtaining prior written permission.
Disclaimer
Exhale Birthing and Beyond education and techniques are not a substitute for the advice of or the presence during birth or any part of pregnancy or labour of a qualified medical practitioner, midwife or obstetrician. It does not represent in fact or otherwise an alternative to appropriate medical care or for professional medical advice in any way shape or form.
Any questions or doubts that you have about the use of KGHypnobirthing by you or any third party in any part should be discussed by you with your medical caregiver and the safety of or the appropriateness of this programme to you or any third party whom you represent be confirmed with your medical care giver prior to undertaking the programme.
Exhale Birthing and Beyond accepts no responsibility for the inappropriate use of hypnobirthing techniques or complications or harm to any third party resulting from the use of hypnobirthing techniques as a substitute for medical advice. KG Hypnobirthing is intended solely as an 'aid' to 'help' increase the comfort of labour and birth and is not in any way a guarantee or promise of expected, imagined or actual outcome of the labour or birth in any way shape or form.

We are unable to comment or advise on any personal medical circumstances.
If you have any concerns about your or your baby’s health or wellbeing, you should always contact your midwife or health care provider.
Exhale Birthing and Beyond accepts no responsibility for any of the decisions you make with regards to your pregnancy and birth.
Taking part in any physical exercises, positions or movements provided by the Exhale Birthing and Beyond courses should only be done when deemed safe by your midwife or healthcare team. If you have any complexities of pregnancy, please do not complete the physical aspects of the courses or alternatively please seek advice and guidance from your pregnancy health care provider and provide written consent you are able to attend the class.
When taking part in any physical activity in Exhale Birthing and Beyond classes, you are responsible for ensuring your space and equipment are safe to use.
Exhale Birthing and Beyond accepts no responsibility for injury caused by taking part in any physical activity on the courses.
If you have any concerns, (including but not exclusively) bleeding, pain, reduced movement, feeling of light headedness, sickness, nausea or any unusual feeling- stop, and contact your midwife immediately.
